Dragon’s Eye Learning Center 501(c)(3) will be leading Natural Farming workshops in Kapoho, Honokaa, and Oahu throughout the summer. Participants will learn about Natural Farming systems for plants and animals. Hands on demonstrations will show how to use local resources to cultivate microorganisms and make fertilizers, garden sprays, animal feed, and more.
Korean Natural Farming is a holistic set of horticulture and animal husbandry practices developed over 40 years by Master Cho Han Kyu of South Korea. Master Cho has taught over 18,000 people in over 32 countries. His methods help farmers cut costs, raise production, and at the same time, steward a healthy environment.
Dragon’s Eye was co-sponsor of the highly successful Korean Natural Farming workshop series led by Master Cho in February of this year in Hilo, Hawaii. The summer workshop series is designed to answer the calls of the community for more hands on practice and deeper understanding of Korean Natural Farming. Dragon’s Eye Farm is a 100% dedicated and practicing model, in the early stages of transitioning from standard organic methods to Natural Farming.
